How Aspire Claims Management will handle your call or online claim, record personal
information & data and assist you.
Our call handlers or the online claim form will require details of your accident.
This information and your personal details will be recorded together with details
relevant to the incident. This may include details of motor vehicles and drivers,
owner of premises or if known person / company responsible, witnesses.
We will also need to know the extent of any vehicle damage and any personal injury
to you or your passengers. This information will assist the call handler or claim
handler to determine if you are entitled to use the services of a vehicle replacement
company or legal representation to pursue a claim, on a No Win No Fee claim basis.
Recorded information will be forwarded or shared with our Vehicle replacement company
and / or our Legal Representative providers. Aspire Claims Management Ltd will not
charge you for our services. We do not provide legal advice; this is provided by
specialist lawyers. If we feel we cannot help you, we will let you know as soon
as possible, and of course you are free to seek advice elsewhere.
Legal Representation
A solicitor from our nationwide panel will contact you if you have suffered any
type of injury as a result of you being involved in a non fault accident. There
are normally no costs or charges payable by you. They will provide you with full
advice about your claim, including an estimate as to what compensation you might
receive if successful, how long it will take, and whether you might have to contribute
anything at all if you win. In most cases it is nothing.
You may have legal expense insurance to protect you, but if not, many cases are
successfully run under a no win no fee claim agreement, where you pay nothing if
you lose, and in most cases, nothing at all if you win. In the event of your legal
representative entering into a No win No fee claim arrangement, where you do not
already have Legal Expenses Insurance, After The Event Insurance will be purchased
for which again there is no cost you.
Your solicitor will explain all this clearly before your claim is started. Always
seek advice quickly after your accident. This is important. Although you generally
have 3 years (or longer for those under 18) from the accident date until your claim
is time-barred, it is best to gather the evidence while memories are fresh, and
get the legal and rehabilitation help when you need it most. For that reason we
ask the legal representative to provide brief details of the progress and outcome
of your case. We treat this information confidentially, but if you do not want the
solicitor to report this information, please instruct them accordingly.
Vehicle replacement / Repair
If we are able to confirm that you have a valid claim we will arrange for our hire
vehicle specialist to liaise with you to organise a replacement car on a like for
like basis immediately. Provided there is no dispute with the cause of the incident
and it is clear that the cause of the accident lies with the other driver our credit
hire company will be able to provide you with a vehicle, normally, within 3 hours
of notification.
If you car is still drivable then once your vehicle goes in for repairs a car will
be delivered to you. Whatever happens we will not leave you with out transport.
If you vehicle is still drivable we will arrange for an approved garage to contact
you to obtain an estimate for the cost of repairs, authorisation will be obtained
from the other driver’s insurance company and your vehicle will be repaired. We
will time everything accordingly so that you are not left without transport.
Claim Tracking
We will, in the event of your claim progressing, provide you with access to a facility
within our website in order that you can access claim progress details. You will
receive a login and password which must be kept secure and can only be used by the
claimant.
If you phone us to make claim or complete an online claim form between 09:00hrs-17.30hrs
Monday to Friday your claim will be processed and assessed immediately. Telephone
claims outside of these hours will connect you to an answering service for you to
record a message. A claim handler will call you back at the earliest opportunity
within the times stated above.
